Bahmani dynasty’s foundation day celebrated
Kalaburagi; based NGO Bahmani Foundation organized Bahmani Dynasty’s foundation day by paying tribute to the first Sultan Alauddin Hasan Bahman Shah’s tomb on Thursday.
Hasan founded the dynasty on August 3, 1347, who later built a vast Empire that ruled for 180 years. Many researchers, historians, artists, social workers and intellectuals expressed their views towards contributions of the Bahmani sultanate to the kingdom.
President Bahmani Foundation Qazi Rizwan ur Rahman Siddiqui said since 25 years the foundation day of Bahmani empire is been organized. Siraj Baba Sajjada Nasheen of Shaik Sirajuddin Junaidi darga recited surah fateha at the tomb of sultan. Artist and researcher Mohammed Ayazuddin Patel explained the brief history of Bahmani.
Noted Urdu literati Hamid Akmal, Azizulla Sarmast, Dr Qazi Hamid Faisal Siddiqui, advocate Jabbar Gola, artist Rehaman Patel, Shahed Pasha, social worker Mohammad Merajuddin, Sajid Ali Ranjolvi, Baba Fakuruddin, Revansiddappa Hotti, Alauddin Akbar, Abdullah Khan were present said Rehaman Patel.
