Artists have far vision: Dr. Farooqui
Kalaburagi: Though the artists have creative sense, they also have power of far vision said Dr Mohammed Abid Ali Farooqui. He was speaking after inaugurating a tow-day state level Islamic Art Exhibition organized at Hidayat Center in Kalaburgai city on Thursday. The event which is organized on eve of Eid Milad, and artists across the state arrived for the exhibition and displayed their artworks that gives a message of humanity he said.
Presiding over the function Prof. R.K. Hudugi expressed his view and said artists are not limited for a particular community. Everyone have their own identity. They have freedom of expression he added. Senior artist Basawaraj Jane also spoke on the occasion. Convener of the exhibition Mohammed Ayazuddin Patel briefed the concept of the event.
Scholar Mohammad Ziaullah gave a lecture on seerat and fundamental of Islam which teaches humanity. About 29 artists from different faith took part in the exhibition. Artist Rehaman Patel, Haji Malang, Rajshekar S, Basawaraj Uppin, Subbayya Neela and many others present in the event. It is open till September 29.
