Sharnbasva University crosses yet another major milestone by signing MoU with Atlantis University
KALABURAGI; Sharnbasva University crossed yet another major milestone in its academic journey by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Florida based Atlantis University and its subsidiary companies including World IT Center for the student and faculty exchange, study abroad programs and postdoctoral fellowship initiatives between the two Universities.
Incidentally, Sharnbasva University for the first time since its inception Five years back is stepping into the field of collaborating with a Foreign University for student and teacher exchange and study abroad programs. Chancellor of the University Mahadasohi Poojya Dr Sharnbaswappa Appaji and Chairperson of the Sharnbasaveshwar Vidya Vardak Sangha Dr Dakshayini Avvaji lauded the efforts of the University authorities for entering into an MoU with a reputed foreign University like Atlantis University and opening new avenues to the students of the region to avail degrees offered by the Atlantis University at minimum cost. Secretary of the Sangha Mr Basavaraj Deshmukh and Vice Chancellor of the University Dr Niranjan V Nisty congratulated the University authorities for the path-breaking MoU with Atlantis University.
While Managing Director of Atlantis University, Asia and Outreach Mr Kailash Chintamani signed the MoU on behalf of Atlantis University, Registrar of the Sharnbasva University Dr Anilkumar Bidve inked his signature on behalf of the Sharnbasva University. While the Atlantis Universities is located at picturistic Miami in Florida, USA, the World IT Centre and its subsidiary IT Tutor PRO Inc are located at Burlington, USA. The World IT Centre is a Visa and Job Placement partner within USA and IT Tutor PRO is an IT training partner within USA.
One of the major benefits of the MoU between the two Universities is that the drastic reduction in the cost of courses offered by the Atlantis University. According to one estimate the cost of admission to the courses offered by the Atlantis University would be considerably less if the admission is done through Sharnbasva University when compared to the cost of admission done through private agencies.
According to the Registrar of the Sharnbasva University Dr Bidve and Dean of the University Dr Lakshmi Patil Maka this was a golden opportunity for the students of the region to avail this opportunity and get admitted in different courses at the degree, post graduate and post doctoral level at affordable cost. The MoU also offers opportunities for student and faculty exchange programme, postdoctoral fellowship initiatives.
They said that the primary objective of the MoU was to promote academic excellence, cultural exchange and research advancement by fostering a dynamic partnership between the two universities. The MoU also provides opportunities to develop a supportive and inclusive learning environment that empowers students to achieve their full potential by providing access to high quality education, mentorship and research opportunities. The aim of the MoU to cultivate well rounded individuals equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their chosen fields and become global citizens.
