Appaji iniatives massive green initiative

KALABURAGI; Mahadasoha Peetathipathi of the Sharnabasaveshwar Samasthan Poojya Dr Sharnbaswappa Appaji has given green signal to a major green initiative by taking up planting of more than 1100 high quality coconut saplings in a six acre agricultural land abetting the land set aside for the Sharnbasva University at the outskirts of Sharnasirasagi village on the Kalaburagi-Afzalpur state highways.

Poojya Dr Appaji accompanied by Matoshri Dakshayini Avvaji, who is also the Chairperson of the Sharnabasaveshwar Vidya Vardak Sangha, and their daughters Ms Shivani, Ms Komal and Ms Maheshwari planted the saplings on Tuesday evening. Dr Appaji and Matoshri Avvaji said that the planting of the 1100 plus saplings of the high yielding coconut trees would help in giving a green cover in the lands abetting the land reserved for the Sharnbasva University. Dean of the Sharnbasva University Dr Lakshmi Maka and Head of the Computer Science Department Prof Kiran Maka and others were present.
