Journalism Department signs MoU with Kannada Sahitya Parishad and Kannada Eveninger “Sanjeyvani”

KALABURAGI; The Journalism and Mass Communication Department in Sharnbasva University signed two Memorandum of Understandings (MoU) with Kannada Sahitya Parishat and the popular Kannada Eveninger  “Sanjevani” to organize joint programmes and conferences as well enable the students to visit both the Parishat and Sanjevani to fine tune their journalistic knowledge.

Dean of the Faculty of the Social Sciences T V Sivanandan signed the MoU on behalf of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication and on behalf of the Kannada Sahitya Parishat its President Mr Vijaykumar Tegaltippi and Secretary Mr Shivaraj Andagi signed the MoU.  Editor of the Sanjevani Mr Ganesh signed the other MoU and Mr Sivanandan signed behalf of the department.  The MoU with the Parishat ensures the students to visit the Parishat office and participate in the functions organized by it and also co-sponsor seminars, conferences and workshops along with the parishat.

The MoU with the Sanjevani ensures the students to regularly attend the newspaper and interact with the journalists working in the newspaper and also get some on the hand training in various activities of the newspaper.
