Art camp to mark International Museum Day on May 18
Kalaburagi: On eve of International Museum Day a one-day art camp would be organized by the Indian Royal Academy of Art and Culture and Ahsan Calliart Foundation on May 18 at Ahsan Design Studio at Sangtarashwadi here.
The theme for International Museum Day 2024 is “museums for Education and Research.” It highlights the importance of cultural institutions and their role in providing a complete educational experience.
Eminent artist Basawaraj R. Uppin would inaugurate the art camp and academy president Rehaman Patel would preside over the function.
In a joint release academy president Rehaman Patel and foundation trustee Shaikh Ahsan told that about 12 artist would take part in the event and will create paintings that contains monuments of Kalyana Karnataka to create awareness among the people.
The participating artists are Rajshekhar Shamanna, Mohammed Ayazuddin Patel, Subbayya Neela, Syed Mustafa, Shaikh Ahsan, Ramagiri Police Patil, Vithal Jadhav, Javeed Ahmed, Rajanna Mugli, Suryakant Nandur, Kahkashan Nazneen and Rajani Talawar.
