Sahitya Sanskruti Utsav: New generation have more responsibility on society
Kalaburagi: The younger generation has more responsibilities on society said eminent painter Basawaraj L. Jane.
He was speaking after inaugurating 45 Young Artists Art Exhibition at Kannada Bhavan that organized as part of Kannada Sahitya Parishat president Vijaykumar Tegaltippi’s 45th birthday celebration organized by Kannada Sahitya Parishat and Kriyasheela Gyaleyara Balaga in Kalaburagi.
On the occasion KSP president Vijaykumar Patil Tegaltippi announced that very soon an art gallery would be established at Kannada Bhavan campus.
The upcoming artists have exhibited their artworks including paintings, drawings, print and photography that captured on social and political issues and heritage protection. A day-long “Sahitya Sanskruti Utsav” exhibition pulled huge crowd.
Convener of the exhibition Rehaman Patel said though the city has hundreds of artists we have chosen the young artists to showcase their talent.
Jagannath Tarnalli, Jagadish Marpalli, Mallinath Patil and Vidyasagar Deshmukh were the guest of honour.
Students of Gulbarga University, Sharnbasva University, MMK College of Visual Art, The Art Integration Fine Art College and NV Degree College were the part of the exhibition.
