Dr.L.Gomathi Devi today assumed office as the First Vice-Chancellor of Maharani Cluster University, Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Dr.L.Gomathi Devi has illustrious, distinguished and brilliant academic career spanning more than three decades, and is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru.

She is a recipient of several awards and recognitions including the Sir C V Raman award, Best research publication award from Government of Karnataka and Best Woman Scientist award from Indian Council of Chemists.

She has served in the Department of Chemistry, Bangalore University, as Professor for more than two decades, prior to this appointment says official press release .
