Karnataka Rajyotsava program at CUK
KALABURAGI: Karnataka Rajyotsava program was organized at the Central University of Karnataka. As part of the program, the program started with a procession with a huge Kannada flag.
Mother and motherland are important. We must respect our land wherever we are. Because it provides us with food and shelter. The people of the land must respect and love each other only then the country will be developed. Every individual and every state must develop equally for that we must love and respect our land. Said Prof. BattuSatyanarayana, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Central University of Karnataka.
Registrar of the University Prof. Basavaraj P Donur said that any government that is giving more emphasis to their language is the Karnataka government. Irrespective of any party, undoubtedly Karnataka government has been giving great encouragement to the Kannada language.
I remember Dr. Rajkumar on this day. His love for Kannada should be an example for all of us. In a sense, his role in the unification of Karnataka is huge. English dramatist Shakespeare wrote about ten plays on English kings but such works were not done in Kannada and hence the information about Kannada outside the state is less. He added.
Dr. BasavarajaKodagunti, Associate Professor, Kannada Department shed light on the origin and development of Kannada language and its importance.
