Exhibition of 67 artist’s artworks concludes
KALABURAGI: Zilla Kannada Sahitya Parishat has organized an exhibition of 67 artist’s artworks at Kannada Bhavan in Kalaburagi was concluded on Wednesday. The exhibition was organized on the occasion of 67th Karnataka Rajyotsava. It was the decision of parishat to celebrate the Rajyotsava in special manner. They invited local artists to showcase their artworks on the occasion.
Paintings played a major role in changing the society and bringing awareness among people. Paintings on socio-cultural and praising the Kannada were put on display.
Member of Legislative Council BG Patil was speaking after inaugurating a three-day exhibition. He said portraits of late actor Puneet Rajkumar and Kuvempu were the major attraction at a three day art exhibition.
Parishat president Vijaykumar Patil Tegaltippi addressed the gathering. Parishat secretary Shivraj Andagi also spoke. Convener of the exhibition Rehaman Patel while presiding over the function said Kalabuargi is the only city to hold 67 artists mega art exhibition on Rajyotsava occasion.
Artworks including paintings, drawings, digital art and photography were on display.
