“Governor Emphasizes the Importance of Officials in Strengthening the Nation”
Bangalore: The Hon’ble Governor of Karnataka, Shri Thaawarchand Gehlot, inaugurated the 74th batch of I.R.S. (C&IT) officer trainees in the DIKSUCHI-2023 programme organised by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs and the National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes, and Narcotics today.
“The Governor congratulated the 74th batch of trained IRS officers and recognised their vital contribution to strengthening the nation’s economy.” The Governor emphasises that the economy and development of the country depend on the ongoing hard work, dedication, and commitment of the officers.

“The Prime Minister of the country is committed to making a new India, a better India, and a self-reliant India by linking education with skills and moral values, and everyone’s contribution is expected to fulfil this commitment. It is hoped that officers will continue to play an active role in public life and inspire others to contribute to the progress of the nation, he added.
Principal Chief Commissioner of Central Tax Bangalore Zone Ranjana Jha, Principal Director General of DG Systems Shri. R. Barua, Additional Director General of NCIN Narayanaswamy, and other officers and staff were present.
