KALABURAGI; Innovative Management Museum

KALABURAGI; The Faculty of Business Studies (Exclusively for Women in the Sharnbasva University has come out with an innovative and interactive Management Museum to upscale the knowledge of the students pursuing their Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) courses.

Chairperson of the Sharanabasaveshwar Vidya Vardak Sangha Matoshree Dr Dakshayini Avvaji who formally inaugurated the museum on Wednesday was all praise for the initiative taken by the Dean of the University Dr Lakshmi Patil Maka and the staff members of the Faculty of Business Studies for establishing the state of art Management Museum which would go long way in improving the knowledge of the business management and how the leading companies like Godrej, TATAs, Reliance, Parry and others had come up in a hard way to make a mark of their own in the world of business.

Head of the Department of MBA Prof Shailaja Matpathi and Dr Sbhobha Hangarki who had pain stakingly established the museum said that the Museum mainly focused highlighting the success stories of the successful business houses, particularly those established on or before 17th century and not only survived all these years but also grown as business leaders not only in India but also made a mark in the world.

The museum highlights how these these companies which were established in 17th century had over the years had inculcated new strategires, new trends and molded themselves as per the needs of the society.

Dr Hangarki said that in the museum special place has been given to the Indian companies which have made innovations in satellite, automobile industry, food products, consumer durables, airlines, automation, online business, pharmaceutical industry and other areas. The successful women entrepreneurs like Kiran Mazumdar, Falguni Nayar, Vandana Mitra, Suchi Mukerjee and others find a place of prime in the museum which the strategies adopted by them in their path of success finding a mention in the museum.

Dr Lakshmi Patil Maka said that the museum stands to be a source of inspiration for the young management graduates to understand the business world, strength and success of women entrepreneurs and adopt some of their success formula in their business adventures in the future.
