KALABURGI—MANGALORE FLIGHT SERVICES DEMAND  

KALABURGI:  The Business and Education hub Coastal Karnataka and Kalaburagi  needs  domestic flight service link as the Daal mill Industrial growth, Entrepreneurships, Hotel and Restaurants business, Agriculture, Medical and engineering colleges, Central university, Food and Textile park , Cement factories   having high strength  of people linked to North Karnataka and Coastal Karnataka.

The tourist and holy temples located in Dharmastala, Mangalore, Udupi,Kollur, Mookambika, Sringeri, Kukke subramanya, Horanadu, , Mangalore Port & beach, Madikeri Chickmagluru, Bekal Kasargod  tourist areas of coastal Karnataa and  fast growing industrial and commericial Kalaburgi  city of Kalayana Karnataka region needs flight linkages..The Public needs flight services to two  cities MANGALORE—BENGALURU—KALABURGI AND KALABURGI—BENGALORE—MANGALORE.

At present Star air and Alliance Air giving alternate day services  between  Kalaburgi –bengalore. Popular Airline INDIGO  operates b/w Mangalore—Bengalore better to extend upto Kalaburgi. A memeorandum submitted to Union  Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minsiter Shobha Kardlaje at Kalaburgi Airport by Dakshina Kannada Sangha President  Dr.Sadanada Perla and Team.

This team explained the importance and urgency of flight services b/w coastal Karnataka and Kalayana Karnataka  public and  the last year  team discussed with MPs of Kalaburgi, Mangalore, Bidar and state ministers and political leaders.

The Airport Director Dr.Chilka Mahesh , MLC B G Patil, ,BJP Rural  zone  District president Shivaraj patil, Dakshina kannada sangha members  Jeevan kumar Jathan, Purander Bhat,  Sunil shetty   present during the memorandum submission to minister and Airport  authority officers. Kalaburgi—Bengalore –Mangalore morning and late evening flight services  public  long pending demand much needed in 2023 .
