Uppin’s solo art exhibition inaugurated; “KK region has a rich cultural heritage: Sedam”

Kalaburagi: Kalayana Karnataka Region has rich art and cultural heritage said former MP Basawaraj Patil Sedam. He was speaking after inaugurating the exhibition titled ” Retrospective an exhibition of Drawings and Paintings” organised at Bapugouda Darshanapur Auditorium at Kannada Bhavan premises with support if Zilla Kannada Sahitya Parishath on Friday.

Former MLA Dattaraya Patil Revoor also shared his views and praised the artifacts of Uppin.

KSP President Vijaykumar Patil Tegaltippi in his address said that in coming days the Parishath will organise a grand event of Uppin’s artworks and will release a book on his life journey.

Eminent artist JS Khanderao elaborated on the development of art in Kalaburagi city.
Artist and researcher Rehaman Patel spoke on rich heritage and monuments of KK region.

He said though we have such great monuments surrounding that everyone should visit and enjoy it. He also spoke on Uppin’s abstract works, tree series and drawings.
The will will remain till February 18 daily from 10am to 6 pm.
