Engineering Students have ample opportunity for higher education in USA: Mr. Kailash Chintamani
KALABURAGI; Mr Kailash Chintamani, Managing Director-ASIA (Member Board of Director) Atlantics University in United States of America said that the Sharnbasva University has done a world of good for the students of the University by signing an MoU with the Atlantics University opening wide avenue of higher education in engineering in USA to them.
Speaking at the inauguraton of the One-day International workshop on “Generative AI in Project Management” in the main campus of the Sharnbasva University on Tuesday, Mr Chintamani noted that already two students of the University have joined their Master of Science (MS) course in Atlantics University located in Miami, Florida in USA and said the academic and professional future of the students opting for the MS course in the University would be more than bright.
He said that the students besides getting regular coaching and training in the University in USA would also be provided online IT training and the University would also help in the job placement of the students joining the University.
Vice Chancellor of the Sharnbasva University Dr Anilkumar Bidve in his presidential address said the current century is dedicated t the Artificial Intelligence and the Sharnbasva University not to be left behind had joined the race in opening new avenues in the field of Artificial Intellegence education by starting two undergraduate courses in Artificial Intellegence and Machine Learning and Artificial Intellegence and Data Science and a Post Graduate course in Artificial Intellegence and Data Sciences to train the students to take on the future challenges.
Dr Bidve said that many more programmes in Artificial Intelligence was in the offing and adopt itself to the world of new technologies and offer courses in relevant areas.
Referring to the MoU entered by the Sharnbasva University with the Atlantics University in USA and other foreign Universities in Germany and other countries, Mr Bidve said that the main aim of the MoU with Universities in the Developed countries was bring the courses with latest and relevant technologies in the higher education to the doorsteps of the students of the Sharnbasva University.
He said that the Universities in the developed countries adopted to the latest and emerging technologies much faster and these technologies percolating to technical education in the country took longer period of time and to overcome this the Sharnbasva University had entered into MoU with these Universities to bring education in the new and emerging technologies to the doorsteps of the students of the Sharnbasva University. Mr Bidve pointed out that the students joining the MS degree courses in the foreign Universities through Sharnbasva University was much cheaper when compared to those opting to enter the MS degree courses in the foreign countries with the help of private agents and consultants.
Dr Arun Chandra Mudol, Director of Eduventures, Bengaluru in his address provided all the vital details to the students about the loan facilities for joining the courses and other details of admission to these courses in the foreign universities. Mr depesh Banik, Mentor, Trainer in the Smart University Innovation Hub in Dhaka Bangladesh delivered a special lecture on “Generative AI in Project Management”. Prominent among those present included Registrar Dr S G Dollegoudar, Director Prof V D Mytri, Dean Dr Lakshmi Patil Maka, Director Research Dr Sujatha Mallapur, Dean (Engineering Technology Co-Ed) Dr Shivakumar Javalgi were present.
