Bahmani Empire Foundation Day should be celebrated through government: Laxman Dasti
Kalaburagi: As the Bahmani kingdom belongs to Karnataka, the government should officially hold this event said Kalyana Karnataka Horata Samiti president Laxman Dast after inaugurating one-day special talks on Bahmani kings contribution to the state. He was speaking at an event that organized on the occasion of 677th Bahmani Empire Foundation Day by Hazrat Sufi Sarmast Islamic Study Circle at Anjuman Tarakki Urdu Hind auditorium in Kalaburagi.
He said we will give a written letter to the District In charge Minister Priyank Kharge in this regard he said.
He traced the history from the first sultan Alauddin Hasan Bahman Shah who became king on August 3, 1347 and made Ahsanabad (Gulbarga) his capital and expanded his territory across Deccan which ended with last king Kaleemullah Shah Bahmani at its second capital Bidar in 1527.
Study Circle President Azizullah Sarmast said that organizing this type of events will help to know the real history to the younger generation.
Renowned artist and photographer Mohammed Ayazuddin Patel the importance of art and architecture built by Bahmani kings. Numismatic collector Mohammed Ismail gave detailed introduction of the coins that released by 18 Bahmani kings during their rule. Artist and researcher Rehaman Patel spoke on the construction of monuments that popularly known as Indo-Islamic style across the world. Advocate Jabbar Gola, Moulana Nooh and Sajid Ranjolvi also spoke on the occasion.
Hamid Akmal, Gazanfar Iqbal, Baba Fakhruddin, Rajshekar Shamanna and many others were present on the occasion.
