Dattatreya Patil C. Revour first MLA to take charge of the KKRDB today
KALABURAGI: South MLA Dattatreya Patil Revoor ( Appugowda)assuming office as chairman of Kalyana Karnataka Region Development Board on (Monday).
Dattatreya Chandrasekhar Patil Revoor (Appugauda), the honorable MLA of the Kalaburagi South Assembly constituency, was sworn in today as the Chairman of the Karnataka Regional Development Board. He was the first MLA to take charge of the KKRDB.
Earlier, only the cabinet-grade ministers could be decorated by the chairman of the board. Honorable Chief Minister b. S. Yeddyurappa’s amendment to the current state government rule allows any legislator in 6 districts of the board to become president. Kalaburagi, Bidar, Yadagiri, Raichur, Koppal and Bellary districts are under the jurisdiction of the Welfare Karnataka Regional Development Board.
On this occasion Dr Mathrubhumi, Member of Lok Sabha. Umesh Jadhav, Nirbharana Ambigara Chaudharya Development Corporation Limited Chairman Baburao Chinchinasura, District Panchayat Chairperson Suvarna Mamantaraya Malaji, MLA Subhash Gowdar, Vidhan Sabha member BG Pillai. Patil, HKCI President Amar Nath Patil, District Panchayat member Shivraj Patil, and Regional Commissioner Dr Krishnaswamy were also present. N. V. Prasad, Kalaburagi City Police Commissioner Satish Kumar, District Police Superintendent Yada Martin Morbanyang and Joint Director of the Board Praveen Priya David.
