Poojya Dr Sharnbaswappa Appaji condoles the death of Sajjada Nasheen of Khaja Banda Nawaz Darga
KALABURAGI; The 8th Mahadasoha Peetadhipathi of the Sharnbasweshwar Samasthan Poojya Dr Sharnbaswappa Appaji and Chairperson of the Sharanabasaveshwar Vidya Vardak Sangha Matoshree Dr Dakshayini Avvaji have condoled the death of Sajjada Nasheen of the famed Khaja Banda Nawaz Dargah Dr Syed Shah Gesodaraz Khusroo Hussaini, who is also the Chancellor of the Khaja Banda Nawaz University as a personal loss and the world has lost a great humanitarian and an educationist.
In a condolence message Dr Appaji, who is also the Chancellor of the Sharnbasva University and Dr Avvaji recalled the bondage between the Sharnbasweshwar Samasthan and Khana Banda Nawaz Dargah which is likened as two eyes of Kalaburagi and with the death of Dr Khusroo Hussaini they had lost a personal friend who steadfastly committed to the secular principles. Dr Appaji said Dr Hussaini had visited the Samasthan after the birth of 9th Peetathipathi of the Samasthan Chiranjivee Doddappa Appa and blessed him.
They said that Dr Khusroo Hussaini’s contribution in the field of education is immense and was instrumental in establishing chain of educational institutions and primarily responsible for establishing the Khaja Banda Nawaz University. He was also a prolific writer and has penned several books on religion and social aspects.
Secretary of the Sangha Mr Basawaraj Deshmukh, Vice Chancellor of the Sharnbasva University Prof Anilkumar Bidve, Dean Dr Lakshmi Patil Maka and other officers of the Sharnbasva University also condoled the death of Dr Hussaini. A condolence meeting was organized in the University in the memory of Dr Hussaini and an holiday has been declared for Sharnbasva University.
