Continuous Education improves prospects of a bright career says experts

KALABURAGI; Successful Entrepreneur and Chief Executive of Ranjana Enterprises Ms Chandanabala Shreyans Sethia and Secretary and Principal of the S S Tegnoor Degree College Dr Jyoti Tegnoor said that continuing education not only enhances the knowledge and updating the latest advances in the respective fields, but also enhances the prospects of brighter career for the young graduates.

Speaking at the Graduation Day celebrations of the students passing out from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (Exclusively for Women), and Faculty of Architecture in the main campus of the Sharnbasva University on Tuesday, Ms Chandanbala Shreyans Sethia said that the young graduates as they enter into a new world of uncertainties should be prepared to work tireless to polish and refine their skills continuously. “Each day presents an opportunity to learn to grow and to prepare for the challenges that lie ahead. Keep track of youress, be mindful of your productivity and seek wisdom from all corners for achieving success in the life”.

She told the young graduates that “as you venture into the world, remember that your responsibilities extend beond personal ambitions. You hold crucial role in the development of our nation and the betterment of the society.” The students should be tbe agents of catalyst for change and contribute to the collective progress of the country.

Dr Jyoti Tegnoor in her address said that the young graduates passing out of the university should integrate continuing education as part of their life for achieving the desired progress in their academic and professional careers. She said that mere graduation in particular stream of engineering or in management studies would not provide them a satisfying professional or academic career. The graduates should continue their education for fine tuning their knowledge and upscalling their skills in the emerging areas of science and technology.

She said that Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence and Data Sciences has opened many windows of opportunities and avenues for the young graduate to shape their professional and academic careers.

The Artificial Intelligence does not only provides opportunities for the engineering graduates, but also the graduates from other faculties such as management, humanities languages and social sciences can take the benefit of the Artificial Intelligence for upscaling their knowledge and use it in their professional and academic careers.

Vice Chancellor of the University Prof Anilkumar Bidve also stressed the need for the young graduates to make the continuous learning as part of their life. “There is no end for learning new things and the continuing education provides opportunity for everybody to update their knowledge of the latest development and acquire new knowledge in new fields”.

He said that there was no dearth for jobs in the market but there was lack of skill among the job seekers was the major malady faced by the industry now. “The young graduates should upscale their skills through continuous education and, the young graduates should strive not only to get a job, but a better job should be aim of everybody”.

Sharnbasva University Director Prof. V. D. Mytri, Registrar Dr. S. G. Dollegoudar, Registrar (Evaluation) Dr. S. H. Honnalli, Finance Officer Prof. Kiran Maka were present on the occasion. Dean of the University Dr. Lakshmi Patil Maka welcomed and Dr. Shivaleela Patil proposed vote of thanks.
