Applications Invited Rashtriya Indian Military College

Bengaluru: Applications are invited from Boys of  Karnataka for admission to Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC), Dehradun (Uttarakhand) for July 2021 Term.

The Entrance Examination for the same will be conducted in Bangalore on 1st and 2nd  Dec 2020. Candidates appearing for the above test should not be less than 11½ Years in age but should not have attained the of 13 years as on 01 July 2021.i.e they should have been born not earlier than 02 July 2008 and not later than 01 Jan 2010. The boy should either be studying in Class VII or passed Class VII from any recognized school at the time of admission to the RIMC, i.e. on 01 July 2021. The primary aim of this institution is to prepare the boys for entry into Defence Services and to provide quality all round education to young boys. The annual fee is presently Rs. 107500/- for general candidates and Rs. 93900/- for SC/ST candidates per year.

Procedure to obtain Application Forms: The prospectus-cum-application form and booklet of old question papers can be obtained personally/Registered Post by sending a written request from the Director, Department of Sainik Welfare and Resettlement, Field Marshal KM Cariappa Bhavan, 58, Field Marshal KM Cariappa Road, Bangalore-560025 on payment of Rs.600/- (for speed post) (for General Candidates) and (Rs. 555/- for SC/ST Candidates) through Demand Draft favouring “THE COMMANDANT RIMC DEHRADUN’’ PAYABLE AT SBI, TEL BHAVAN , DEHRADUN (BANK CODE NO. 01576). Candidates who desires to obtain the application form by Registered Parcel should send a self addressed envelope measuring 11”x 9’’ size duly affixed with Rs. 40/- postage stamps. The address should be TYPED/WRITTEN clearly in CAPITAL LETTERS  with PIN CODE and contact number on the envelope. Department of Sainik Welfare and Resettlement will not be responsible for any postal delay or loss in transit.

Last date. Prescribed application forms duly completed, in duplicate, should reach Director, Department of Sainik Welfare and Resettlement, Field Marshal KM Cariappa Bhavan, 58, Field Marshal KM Cariappa Road, Bangalore-560025 along with the following documents on or before 30/09/2020:

Five passport size photographs (including one each affixed on the application form). Attested copy of Birth Certificate issued by Municipal Corporation/Gram Panchayat (in English version only).

Attested copy of SC/ST certificate for SC/ST candidates (in English version only). Admit card envelope duly addressed and affixed with Rs.40/- for sending the Admission Ticket by Speed/Registered Post. Certificate from the Principal of the school in original with photograph on it attested stating date of birth and in which class studying. A state Domicile  Certificate from Tahsildar.
