Kalaburagi: Hyderabad Karnataka JanaparaSangarsha Samiti conducted meeting to discuss overall development of Kalyana Karnataka region under leadership of Shri Laxman Dasti(Founder President Hyderabad Karnataka JanaparaSangarsha Samiti) at Anjuman Hall, opposite KBN Hospital, Kalaburagiwhile adhering to social distancing protocols of Covid19.
And held 2 minutes of silence to condole sad demise of Hon’Ble Rajya Sabha Member & leader from region Late Shri Ashok Gasti Ji.
While discussing suggestions were sought on expediting the pending issues such as effective implementation of Article 371J, conversion of ESI Medical Complex at Kalaburagi to AIIMS, Early operation of Kalaburagi Railway Division, filling of vacancies under Article 371J.
Shri Sunil Kulkarni mentioned that many trains were announced recently to all corners of the state from Bengaluru except 4 districts of Kalyana Karnataka region (Bidar, Kalaburagi, Yadgir, Raichur).
To fix this recurring issue permanently only solution is early operation of Kalaburagi Railway Division. Also highlighted that during this Covid pandemic period, instead of spending thousands of crores of Rupees in building new infrastructure for AIIMS in Karnataka the existing ESI Medical complex can be converted to AIIMS, which anyway is underutilized. This will also be cost effective solution to Central Government & to Karnataka.
Dr Majid Dagi mentioned that as per last year declaration of Chief minister Separate Secretariat for Kalyana Karnataka (Article 371J implementation) is still pending.
Shri Srinivas Katare highlighted that time bound action plan needs to be drafted for overall development of Kalyana Karnataka Region & memorandum needs to be submitted to KKRDB Chairman Shri Dattatreya Patil Revoor.
Shri Samuel Sunderrajdescribed the importance of having Covid-19 Testing centers at Taluka levels as currently people from villages are suffering since they are required to come to district headquarters for testing & also mentioned to charge needs to be very minimum.
Shri Manish Jaju proposed to President of Hyderabad-Karnataka JanaparaSangarsha Samiti to conduct 2-day workshop in November to chart out Action plan for over all development of the region by taking measures of social distancing.
During this meeting State President of Kannada Bhoomi Jagruti Samiti Shri LingrajShirgapur submitted memorandum to Laxman Dasti to take initiate & leadin uniting all organizations in all fields of entire Kalyana Karnataka Region for over all development of the region.
It was also discussed that the movement for development of Kalyana Karnataka will be unbiased of political parties, language, culture, caste, religion. During this meeting Abrahim, Mirajuddin, Vali Ahmed, Anand Chavan, Santosh Bairamadgi, Basawaraj Anwar, Aslam Chonge, Baba Fakrudin, BaburaoGawar, MallinathSangshetty, BhagwantRao Patil, BasawarajRavoor also spoke.
