102-year-old man successfully treated for stroke at Trust well Hospital

Bangalore: There is a misconception that If you get a stroke, life is over – fear that person will not be able to stand up and do their work like everyone else. This was proved untrue when a 102-year-old man who suffered a stroke is now sitting and performing bhajan. He was successfully treated at Trustwell Hospital.

The 102-year-old stroke victim was having lunch when he lost control of his right hand. The family panicked and was rushed to Trustwell Hospital. As a result of timely treatment by the Trust Well Hospital staff, the paralyzed senior was able to raise his arms by 50 percent within half an hour of admission to the hospital. Also, within an hour he was able to raise 90 percent of his arms.

Dr Rajesh said that the main objective of this theme is that if proper treatment is given quickly to those who are affected, they can escape from the danger.
A “Stroke Awareness Walkathon” was organized on October 29 by Trustwell Hospital on J.C. Road to create awareness about stroke. This walkathon was initiated by a 102-year-old senior who was successfully treated for stroke.
