Theft of Voter Database Appeared in Media

Bengaluru: News published in certain news portal and electronic media alleging theft of voter database and privacy.

No permission for survey was granted by DEO, BBMP to any NGO.  The permission to create awareness to Chilume Trust was withdrawn by DEO, BBMP immediately after receiving the complaint against it.
