Three-day International Conference at Sharnbasva University
KALABURAGI; Sharnbasva University would be hosting a 3-day International Conference on Multidisciplinary Research in Kalaburagi City to commemorate the 53rd Birthday of Chairperson of the Sharanabasaveshwar Vidya Vardak Sangha and Member of Board of Governors (BOG) of the Sharnbasva University Matoshree Dakshayini Avvaji from November 22.
While the Conference being held in association with the IETE sub Centre, Kalaburagi and co-sponsored by the ISTE New Delhi and Women in Engineering (WIE) and IEEE would be inaugurated at the Poojya Basavarajappa Appa Memorial Hall in the city, the technical sessions would be held in the respective departments in the main campus of the university.
Mahadasoha Peetathipathi of the Sharanabasaveshwar Samasthan Poojya Dr Sharnbaswappa Appaji, who is also the Chancellor of the Sharnbasva University and the Vice Chancellor of the University Dr Niranjan V Nisty in a joint statement issued in Kalaburagi city on Sunday that the Conference would be inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor of the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) at New Delhi Dr Santishree Dhulipudi Pandit and the National President of the IETE Prof V Gunashekhar reddy would be the Chief guest of the inaugural function.
The statement said a galaxy of speakers and senior scientists from different countries and India would be delivering special lectures on different subjects with research as the main theme in the conference. Prominent among them included Dr Jadegowda Eligar, Senior Scientist in the Department of Biotechnology in Singapore, Prof dr Ismail Naci Cangul, a noted mathematician from Uludag University in Turkey, Dr Mohd. Rosli Mohd Hasan from University of Sains in Malaysia, Dr Jerry Chun Wei Lil from Western Norway University of applied Sciences in Norway, Prof Ullo Silvia Liberata from University of Sannio in Italy, Prof Touffik Mansour from University of Haifa in Israel, Prof Samuel Jigme Harrison , Senior member of the IEEE Singapore, Smt Nandini Sivanandan, a softwar developer from Canada, Dr Ali J Chamkha from Kuwait College of science and Technology, well known architect Himanshu Patel , Head of the Media Studies in Akkamahadevi Womens University Vijayapura, Mr. Onkar Kakade, Mr Serish Nanishetty, City Editor, The Hindu Hyderabad, Mr Ramu Patil, Associate Editor, the New Indian Express, Bengaluru, Bureau Chief of Prajavani at Hubballi Smt S Rashmi, Input Head in Suvarna TV M C Shobha, Special Correspondent of The Hindu Mr Rishikesh Bahadur Desai, H S Shreyas, Special Correspondent of Times of India, and several others would be star attraction in the technical sessions of the conference.
The statement said more than 200 papers of international quality would be presented in the different technical sessions of the conference and this would be published in SCI Indexed Journals, Scopus Index and UGC Care list Journals. Another feature of the conference was that the Department of Fine arts would be hosting an International Painting Exhibition in which more than 67 reputed artists from different countries would be participating and exhibiting their talents. The guest speakers in the technical sessions included Dr Ashok Rao, Retired Professor at IISc Bengaluru, Dr B D Parameshachari, Registrar (Evaluation) of Bengalore University Dr V Lokesha, Dr Basavaraj Benni, Dr Abha Aggarwal and several others.
Another feature of the conference was the Pre and Post Conference Tutorials for the UG and PG students, faculty members and research students which would be held on November 21 and 25 respectively. The sessions in the pre and post conference tutorials would be chaired by Dr Ashok Rao, Mr Raghavendra G saraf, Mr Samuel Jigme Harrison and Mr Raghavendra Ural K.S.
