Art camp for cultural exchange

Kalaburagi: Artists from Russia and India took part in a three day art camp organised as part of India-Russia Cultural Exchange Program organised in association with Saint-Petersburg Centre for Humanitarian Programs, Shryansy International Art and Culture Organisation and Indian Royal Academy of Art and Culture at Central Mall in Kalaburagi.

Russian artists Tarasova Elizaveta and Tatiana Svetkina worked with Shryansy Singh, Andani VG, Basawaraj Uppin, Wajid Sajid, Basawaraj Jane, Subbayya Neela, Rajshekhar Shamanna, gave live painting demonstration by following the culture of Kalburagi city.

The duo Russian artists who arrived in Kalaburagi took a round of city and studied the socio-cultural, art and architecture facts and later painted it on the canvas.

Thousands of people attended the event and enjoyed the artworks painted by various artists. The city witnessed historic gathering.

Organizers Sujathulla Aslam, Mohammed Ali, Mohammed Ahmed Pasha, convener Mohammed Ayazuddin Patel and coordinator Rehaman Patel were present at the event.
