Sufi Sahitya Sammelana in October

Kalaburagi: In view of protecting the culture and traditions of this Kalyana Karnataka region the District Kannada Sahitya Parishat has decided to hold the Sufi Sahitya Sammelana ever held in the state said KSP president Vijayakumar Patil Tegaltippi.

He was speaking at a special meeting held at Kannada Bhavan here. Prominent Sufi saints preachings are followed by the people here. Social reformers Basaweshwara, Saint Sharanbasweshwar and Sufi Khaja Bandanawaz are the main pillars here who taught humanity among the people of this region he said.

There is a need to reach message of Karnataka Sufi tradition to the younger generation. In this two and half year our Parishat has organised Sikshaka Sahitya, Patrakarta Sahiti, Vachana Sahitya, Dasa Sahitya, Tatvapada Sahitya, and Dalit Chalavali Sahitya Sammelana.

Very soon the plan of Sammelana president and speakers of the seminar would be released.

Now it’s a kind of Sufi Sahitya Sammelana that will be organised in the month of October said Honourary Secretary Shivraj Andagi and Dharmanna Dhanni. Treasurer Sharanraj Chapparbandi, member Ravindrakumar Bantanalli, Rehaman Patel and many others were present.
