Kala Soudha (Art Gallery) to be inaugurated on Oct 22
Kalaburagi: Zilla Kannada Sahitya Parishath is all set ready for the inauguration of “Kala Soudha” (Art Gallery) under the premises of Bapugouda Darshanapur Rangamandir at Kannada Bhavan.
The art gallery is the first independent space which could be used by various artists working is painting, sculpture, photography and other art forms said parishath president Vijaykumar Patil Tegaltippi at a press meet here on Friday.
KKRDB Chairman Dr Ajay Singh will inaugurate Kala Soudha and art exhibition on October 22 at 10.45. Deputy Commissioner B Fouzia Taranum, Police Commissioner Dr Sharanappa SD, artist JS Khanderao and AS Patil will be the chief guests.
The parishath has decided to hold a painting and photography exhibition of 10 national and international reputed artists titled “Dahsavarna” The participating artists are Basawaraj Uppin, Subayya Neela, Rajshekhar S, Mohammed Ayazuddin Patel, Rajesh Sangvikar, Rehaman Patel, Shivleela Uppin, Raghavendra Bhurli, Shahed Pasha and Nagraj Kumbhar.
Convener of the exhibition Rehaman Patel said the exhibition will open for public till October 27 daily 10.30 to 6 pm.
