Rehaman Patel honoured with international award at Bengaluru

KALBUAGI; Artist Rehaman Patel has been honoured with the ‘Best Creation Jury Choice Award’ at India International Art Annual Exhibition organized by the Jain University, Bengaluru on Saturday.

Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts Regional Director Mahendra D, Karnataka Shilpakala Academy Chairman MC Ramesh, eminent sculptor and painter Devi Dass Khattri presented the awards. Convener of the exhibition Dr Avinash D Kate who is also Dean, Art and Design presided over the function.

The award was given for Patel’s painting ‘The last option’ created during Corona Pandemic to aware the people. The exhibition is open for public till December 30.
