Dr Basavaraj Mathapati appointed Registrar (Evaluation) of the Sharnbasva University

KALABURAGI;  Mahadasoha Peetathipathi of the Sharnbasveshwar Samasthan and Chancellor of the Sharnbasva University Poojya Dr Sharnbasawappa Appaji has appointed Dr Basavaraj S Mathapati as the Registrar (Evaluation) of Sharnbasva University with immediate effect.

Secretary of the Sharnbasveshwar Vidya Vardak Sangha and Member of the Board of Governors (BOG) of the Sharnbasva University Mr Basavaraj Deshmukh who announced this decision at a meeting in Sharnbasva University on Wednesday  said that a high level meeting of the University and Sangha held under the chairmanship of Poojya Appaji and Matoshri Dakshayini Avvaji, who is also the Chairperson of the Sharanabasaveshwar Vidya Vardak Sangha and Member of the Board of Governors of the Sharnbasva University, held at the Mahadasoha Mahamane in Kalaburagi city on Tuesday decided to elevate Dr Mathapati, who was holding the charge as the Dean of the Sharnbasva University, as the Registrar (Evaluation) of the University to fill the vacancy caused by the untimely death of Dr Lingraj Shastri, who died in a tragic road accident on Sunday.  Among others who were present in the high level meeting included Registrar Dr Anilkumar Bidve, Dean Dr Lakshmi Patil Maka, Finance Officer Prof Kiran Maka and others.

Mr Deshmukh formally handed over the order appointing Dr Mathapati as the Registrar (Evaluation) to him and felicitated him at his new chamber. Prominent among others who were present included Registrar, Dr Anilkumar Bidve,  Dean,Dr Lakshmi Patil Maka, Finance officer, Prof Kiran Maka Dean of the faculty of languages, , Dr S G Dollegoudar, Dean Faculty of Business Studied, , Dr S H Honnalli, Dean faculty of Science and Technology ,   Dr Nagabasavanna Guragol, and others.

Later, Mr. Deshmukh also inaugurated the office of NAAC Internal Quality Assurance Cell in the main campus of the University.
