Sharnbasva University to introduce Certificate Course in Journalism from the ensuring academic year

KALABURAGI;  Mahadasoha Peetathipathi of the Sharnbasaveshwar Samasthan and Chancellor of the Sharnbasva University Poojya Dr Sharnbaswappa Appaji has said that the University has decided to introduce a certificate course in Mass Communication and Journalism from the ensuing academic year 2021-22 in the main campus of the University in kalaburagi city.

Poojya Appaji said that the duration of the proposed certificate course in Mass Communication and Journalism would be one year and this course has been specifically designed f professionals working in print and electronic media without proper qualification.  Others interested in the field of journalism working in other fields like legal profession, teachers, and other professionals can avail this opportunity to become freelance journalists and contribute effectively in the social media.

Vice Chancellor of the University Dr Niranjan V Nisty and Registrar Dr Anilkumar Bidve said that the proposed certificate course would be a part-time course offering classes to those admitted in the course in the afternoon, evening or weekends. The course has been designed as a combined course for both the print and electronic media.
