Karnataka Bank assistance to set up Drone Laboratory in Sharnbasva University
KALABURAGI; The Karnataka Bank has extended an assistance of Rs 12.98 lakhs under the Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative for the financial year 2023-24 for establishing a full fledged Drone Laboratory for the benefit of the students in the main campus of the university.
Dean of the University Dr Lakshmi Patil Maka who had taken the initiative for proposing financial assistance for setting up the drone laboratory in the University said in a press release in Kalaburagi on Thursday that the bank would directly make the payment to the agency which supplied the equipments after the complete installation of the equipments.
This is for the first time that the University is getting financial assistance from a Bank for establishing a laboratory for the benefit of the students. 8th Mahadasoha Peetathipathi of the Sharanabasaveshwar Samasthan Poojya Dr Sharnbaswappa Appaji, Chairperson of the Sharanabasaveshwar Vidya Vardak Sangha Matoshree Dr Dakshayini Avvaji, Secretary of the Sangha Mr Basavaraj Deshmukh, Vice Chancellor Dr Niranjan V Nisty, Registrar Dr Anilkumar Bidave congratulated Dr Lakshmi Patil Maka for successfully getting the funds for establishing the drone laboratory which would go long way in enhancing skills of the students.
