Kittur Rani Chennamma Award presented to Dr Lakshmi Patil Maka.

KALABURAGI;  The District Veerashaiva Lingayata Yuva Vedike has awarded the Kittur Rani Chennamma Award to the Dean of the Sharnbasva University Dr Lakshmi Patil Maka in Kalaburagi city on Friday.

Kshadakshala Brahma Sri Gurumurthi Shiacharyaru, Chief of the Samasthana Hiremath at Pala in Kalaburagi district gave away the awards to Dr Lakshmi Patil Maka in recognition of her contribution in the field of Education.

Along with Dr Lakshmi Patil Maka, the swamiji also gave away the Kittur Rani Chennamma Award to four others for their immense contribution in different fields and they included Ms Bharati Patil (Women Empowerment), Ms Pooja Bhairamadagi (Para- Medical), Ms Gowramma Shivaputra (Agriculture) and Ms Sweta Parushuram Gobbur (Literature).

Chancellor of the Sharnbasva University and Mahadasoha Peetathipathi of Sharanabasaveshwar Samasthan Poojya Dr Sharnbaswappa Appaji, Chairperson of the Sharanabasaveshwar Vidya Vardak Samiti Poojya Dr Dhakshayini Avvaji, Secretary of the Sangha Mr Basavaraj Deshmukh, Vice Chancellor Dr Niranjan Nisty, Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof V D Mytri, Registrar Dr Anilkumar Bidve, and Registrar (Evaluation) Dr Lingraj Shastri congratulated Dr Lakshmi Patil Maka for the award in recognitiation of her contribution in the field of education and also thanked the District Veerashaiva Lingayata Yuva Vedike for conferring this award on Dr Lakshmi Patil Maka.
