Farewell function to Hon’ble VC  andProVCat CUK

Kalaburagi: Farewell function to the Vice Chancellor and Pro Vice Chancellor of Central University of Karnataka was held recently. Vice Chancellor Prof. H.M Maheshwaraiah and Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. G.R Naik was felicitated by teaching, non-teaching and other organizations on this occasion.

Three books were released dedicating to Prof H. M Maheshwariah in the function, ‘Indian Multilingualism and Language Behaviour’ and ‘Bhasha Mandara’ edited by Dr. Manjulakshi and Mr. Mahendra, ‘Multi facets of Indian Folklore’ edited by Dr. Rajashree along with a souvenir ‘Journey of Excellence’ of his journey.

Recalling the days, they spent with Vice Chancellor faculties told that they never came across such a Vice Chancellor who was very friendly and who respected human relations more. They also spoke about his administration and leadership in which the University succeeded in many ways.  Speaking about Pro Vice Chancellor Prof G.R Naik the faculties opined that he is know for his sielence and patience. He helped us to solve all the problems and he was the first one we approached when we were facing some problems they said.

Prof. H.M Maheshwarai in his speech he said he is happy about his performance and he will be happy to work with the institution in one way or the other with this institution. Pro Vice Chancellor was very helpful and coordinating he told. He was sad for not having the students in the campus while he finished his tenure. He always had a good relationship with the students so he miss them he told.

Deans of various Schools, Heads, Professors, faculties, research scholars, non teachingstaff were present on this occasion.
