Poojya Matoshree Dakshayini Avvaji selected to receive Honorary Doctorate by Davanagere University

KALABURAGI;  The chairperson of the Sharanabasaveshwar Vidya Vardak Sangha and Member of the Board of Governors (BOG) of the Sharnbasva University Poojya Matoshree Dakshayini Avvaji has been selected by the Davanagere University to receive the Honorary Doctorate conferred on selected personalities from different field this year.

According to a communication received from the Vice Chancellor of the Davanagere University Dr. Sharanappa V Halse, the honorary doctorate would be conferred to Poojya Matoshree DakshayiniAvvaji would be conferred at the Convocation of the University to be held at the Main Campus of the University at Shivagangotri in the outskirts of Davanagere on Wednesday.

PoojyaJagadguru DR Sarangadara Deshikendra Mahaswamigalu of Srisailam who felicitated Matoshree DakshayiniAvvaji  for being honoured with the Honoarary Doctorate by the Davanagere University, said that by conferring the honorary Doctorate to Matoshree the Davanagere University has increased its prestige andhonour. This honour to Matoshree would go long way in laying the path for the Sharnbasva University and the educational institutions run by the Sharanabasaveshwar Vidya Vardak Sangha to achieving theworld class status.

Registrar of the Sharnbasva University Dr AnilkumarBidve , Registrar (Evaluation) Dr LingrajShashtri, Deans Dr Lakshmi Patil, and DrBasavaraj Matpathi led the heads of all the departments of the University to honour Matoshree Dakshayini Avvaji, who humbly remarked that the honour received by her was due to the blessings of Lord Sharanabasaveshwar and Poojya Dr. Sharnbaswappa Appaji. Secretary of the Sharanabasaveshwar Vidya Vardak Sangha Mr Basavaraj Deshmukh and others also felicitated Matoshree Dakshayini Avvaji and Poojya Sharan baswappaAppaji who was also present.
